3-5 Say It

Craig: *Favorite Page Ever.*
J.D.: Again.
Craig: Okay, so this page contains my favorite panel in the whole series —
J.D.: — so far —
Craig: — panel 2. Leon and Lucky staring each other down makes me giggle. These two personalities are just comic gold. They practically write themselves when they’re on the page together.
J.D.: I can’t read Lucky’s character history out loud with a straight face to this day.
Craig: It was fun to write and illustrate. I have to admit that I actually like Lucky’s character concept.
J.D.: Oh, as though I haven’t written any ones that are stranger than that? It’s just the fact that Lucky is writing this character history for a *Mythband character* who is not really expected to live beyond level five, if it weren’t for Leon.
Craig: Lucky the half-troll mage might not live beyond level five, even with Leon.
J.D.: *Especially* with Leon, if she keeps going on like that about her character history.
Craig: I think that’s what I love about them. They antagonize each other just by being themselves. And am I the only one that thinks Leon’s fingers are crossed in panel 3? 😉

Okay… this is *my* favorite page ever. Awesome job on this one guys. The humor, the artwork, comic effect… everything. Two thumbs up. 😀

Ah, yes. Lucky the half-troll, chosen by gods to be the one to defeat the Dark Lord. There’s just this one little trouble. This is not a story. This is real. The hero has no mystic senses warning him of dangers, no magical fiery sword to slay his enemies with… All he has is his courage and the knowledge of doing the Right Thing and the enigmatic but faithful companion only known as the Ranger. (Ranger doesn’t have a magical fiery sword, either. Instead, he has Ringilis, the magical icy sword… )

Oh but Ranger does not have the speedy Ringilis. Ranger just has a heavy long sword he can barely wield with two hands.

I’m going to have to disagree….I think some of the best panels have been the larger ones. The extra size gives you more room for details. But I will say that I love Leon’s expression in panel 6…… 🙂 I get that a lot from my wife.
