2-1 – Chapter 2
Saturday, April 14th, 2007– Commentary –
J.D.: I originally determined this look for the outside of the tavern a looooong time ago, like before we stopped doing the original color series.
Craig: How was it that you decided what it would look like?
J.D.: I’m not sure. I just knew that I wanted some cool ironwork above the sign.
Craig: I like how the iron sign has a flower at its zenith. It gives a little insight into the personality of the bartender.
J.D.: Yep.
Craig: Why did you choose the quote you did for Chapter 2?
J.D.: Well firstly because it dealt with the subject of chains, but in addition I really felt like it was appropriate for what had happened to Leon, that he was put into a situation where he would have to deal with his own failings and shortcomings in a very real sense.
Craig: Kind of like Scrooge? 🙂
J.D.: Yeah. I love a later quote from the book, where the Ghost of Christmas Past speaks of Scrooge’s reclamation.
Craig: Chains, both physical and metaphorical, feature largely in this chapter. I like the chains you drew coming out of the entrance to the dungeon.
J.D.: I did the rough sketch for this one — I think while we were still doing the prologue.
Craig: I remember that. We went to GenCon looking for manacles so that you could sketch them. As I recall, we did find some that you could draw.
J.D.: Not at GenCon. I had to use the good old Internet for pictures of manacles of the type that I wanted for this picture. They’re actually a lot harder to find than you might think.
Craig: Oh, that doesn’t surprise me. I can just imagine what must have come up when you typed “manacles” into Google Image Search. 0.0

Good day! Do you know if they make any plugins to assist with SEO?
I’m trying to get my site to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not seeing very good gains.
If you know of any please share. Appreciate it!
